Which Webflow plan do I need for live chat?
Any active Site plan, or a paid Workspace (Core, Growth, Freelancer or Agency). Custom code, both site-wide and per page, is not available on a free Starter site without one of those.
Install guide
Paste one script tag in your site's custom code, publish, and the chat bubble is on every page. Nothing changes in the Designer.

Where it goes
The snippet is the same on every platform: one script tag just before the closing body tag. These steps show where that is on Webflow.
Add your website under Websites, using the domain you are installing on, and copy the snippet from its Embed code page. It has your site ID filled in; the one shown here uses a placeholder.
In Webflow open Site settings, then the Custom code tab. Custom code needs an active Site plan or a paid Workspace (Core, Growth, Freelancer or Agency); a site on the free Starter plan alone can't add it.
Put it in the Footer code field (the code Webflow adds before </body>), not in Head code, and click Save changes.
Custom code only runs on the published site, not in the Designer. Publish, then open your site to see the chat bubble.
Good to know
What you get
The widget lives in its own iframe, so it looks and works the same on Webflow as everywhere else.
That is the whole install. No npm package, no build step, no plugin to keep updated.
Visitors see your answer the moment you send it, without refreshing. Your team replies from one inbox.
When nobody is online, visitors leave their email and a message, and the chat picks up where it left off.
No IP addresses, no fingerprinting, no third-party scripts. A name, an optional email and the conversation.
